First off, I just want to apologize to Levi and Daily Magic Games for not getting this out while Merchants of Araby campaign was running on Kickstarter. Between life, editing issues, and technology just hating on me in general, I wasn't able to turn this episode around as quickly as I would have liked.

There is still a lot of great information about playtesting, games we've been playing, and other inside the hobby talk to be found. Of course, if Merchants of Araby is something that interests you, it isn't too late to pre order it. Also, be sure to check out Go Nuts for Donuts by Daily Magic Games on Kickstarter right now!

Summer keeps ticking along, and the chaos of moving digs its paws deeper into it. I'm close to seeing the end of the move and by the end of August life should be grounded and stabilized and content should be back to its regular schedule. Until than, I apologize for the sparse content through the months of July and August and Wash and I would like to thank all of our listeners for their patience and loyalty through it all.

This episode includes Ian from Magic Meeple Games talking about Kickstarter, his game Fire of Eidolon on Kickstarter right now, and many other games and subjects.

Summer, why do you have to be so chaotic! I apologize for our unscheduled hiatus for most of July. My Yeti microphone had crapped out on me right before the Fourth of July Weekend. After the holidays, I was able to get a hold of Blue to help me take care of the problem, which they happily did!

All I have to say is “Thank You, Blue!” They’re customer service was phenomenal. They advised me that Yeti microphones have a two year warranty, (which I wasn’t aware of) and I just had to send mine to them and if there was a defect, they would promptly send me a new one, which they did. So, if you are a podcaster, looking for a new mic, be sure to check out what Blue has to offer. They haven’t disappointed me yet!

So, pair that with just life in general being busier than normal, and July is already gone by! I apologize in the delay with our programming.

BUT! WE have fixed this today! In this week’s new episode, Moe from Club Fantasci joins me again to talk about a GM less RPG called Labyrinth by Chris Zimmerman.

If you are looking for something to pass the time away as you wait for the Fourth of July, Independence Day, activities to kick in to high gear, or it's just another dreary boring Monday for you, than we have a treat for you!

So, just sit down with Wash, our guest, Nathan Kohatsu, and I, as we chat about our gaming origins, Kohatsu's top five games of all time, and games we've been playing.

Happy Independence Day to all who celebrate and a late Happy Canadian Day to all our friends North of us! Of course, I hope everyone else's Monday goes as well or better as a Monday can go!

Cheers!

This week we have something a little different for you. During Gamestorm 18, I was part of a panel that contained members of the Pathological NerdCasters Network. I was joined by TC and Carissa of the Tattered Board Podcast, Brandon Burke of Spaghetti & Meeples, and Andrew Mayer of Level Up Design Podcast. We had some hiccups and technical difficulties with a wire short with one of the mics, but overall it came out pretty well. We had a blast chatting amongst each other and all the guests that joined us during the panel. We are working on the video from it and will have it up soon on PNCN’s YouTube Channel. So, here you go! Enjoy!

After a week away from the mics, we are back. We were excited when Anthony from the Cardboard Jungle podcast wanted to join us and chat about the board game industry. His specialty, other than talking to his two partners on their podcast, and pushing chits and rolling dice, is helping publishers and volunteers find each other, as well as being a volunteer himself for many years now.

If you've ever wondered how you can be more involved with the board game companies you love, or a new or old publisher looking for tips and how-to's for gathering minions to help you at the conventions, or you just want to hear three old guys ramble about board games and the industry that fuels our habits, than this is the perfect episode for you!

Feb 1, 2016

Sorry to be running a little late this week, but I think you will find the content well worth it. Since Wash has been busy prepping and preparing for the House of Borgia Kickstarter fixing to launch on February 15th, I asked Moe to stop by our virtual studio and hang out for this week's belated episode.

This actually works out perfect since we both had received review copies of Victory Points Hearty Health Hospital at BGGCon last year. This gives us a chance to review and discuss about the cooperative game at length.

We also talk about our time spent on Tabletopia playing Draco Magi and our impressions of the virtual world that is invading our tabletop space.

Of course, a podblast wouldn't be complete without talking about some Kickstarter projects on Kickstarter right now, and reveal two projects Moe and I have received lately that failed in their delivery of the final product.
